The Big Bang will be back in 2018!

Manchester Round Table (previously Cheadle and Gatley Round Table) who put on the famous Cheadle’s Big Bang fireworks display has confirmed that that there will be no Big Bang event this year, due to the sale of land at Cheadle College. The team behind the successful charity event which last year raised over £30,000 for good causes, will instead be helping out at Wilmslow Round Table’s equally successful charity firework display on Saturday 4th November, further detail on

Current chairman of Manchester Round Table, Heiner Usher, confirmed that the group aims to bring the display back to a new venue in the Cheadle area next year "Whilst we are obviously disappointed with not being able to put on the bonfire this year, we can't wait to come back next year with a event which benefits the whole community both those who want to see a fireworks display and the local charities which we raise money for. We are really proud to be making sure that people who would normally come to our event can still go to a charity bonfire only 10 minutes down the road".

Wilmslow Fireworks takes place at Carnival Fields in Wilmslow with park and ride from Broadway Meadow Car Park right next to Wilmslow Train Station.
